15-years jubilee

On Saturday 12th of June 2010 Künstlerhaus Schloß Balmoral celebrated its jubilee. Since 15 years international artists were supported through scholarships. From 1996 up to 2010 there have been 175 scholarships allocated. Each year apply 420 - 490 artists on an average.
During their stage the supported artists present their works in exhibitions organised by the institution and its partners. There is also a current programm with lectures and open studios.

Künstlerhaus Schloß Balmoral is proud of the success of the actual and former scholarship holders. They present their works at international exhibitions and on art fairs like Art Cologne or Art Forum in Berlin. Some of them have their own galleries and some have become visiting lecturer or professors.

In the year of the jubilee the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck shows the exhibition Balmoral Blend which presents a collection out of all the scholarship holders until now. The opening will take place at thursday the 5th of august.
