Balmoral awards six 6-month residential scholarships to international visual artists.
Additionally, Balmoral awards one 6-month project scholarship to allow one selected national visual artist to realise a project elsewhere.
In order to promote the dialogue between research and art, one 6-month curator scholarship will be awarded to a junior scholar of the humanities (preferably art history).
Visual artists from Rhineland-Palatinate have the possibility to apply for further scholarships: Stipendien für Rheinland-Pfälzer.
One 3-month exchange residential scholarship for Künstlerhaus Schloß Balmoral will be awarded to a visual artist of Burgundy, France. For further information see the homepage of Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art de Dijon.
